Penile Enlargement Methods
Surgical penile enlargement methods are available to improve the appearance and size of the penis. These methods are also known as male enhancement procedures. They can be performed either in the operating room of a certified medical facility or by a certified medical practitioner. The procedures are designed to improve blood flow in the penis, which in turn results in stronger erections. The procedure can also include postoperative exercises for stretching the penile scar.
Penile enlargement can be accomplished through various surgical techniques, which involve the placement of a dermal fat graft or acellular matrix graft in the penile shaft. A dermal fat graft can be selected from bovine pericardium or small intestinal submucosa. Alternatively, an acellular matrix graft can be selected from the human dermis or porcine dermis.
A non-surgical method of penile enlargement involves the injection of semi-permanent filler compositions to the penis glans. These filler compositions can be administered subcutaneously or intradermally. These methods may be less invasive to the patient, but may not produce as dramatic results as surgical techniques. In addition to enhancing the size of the penis, injectable filler compositions can also be sculpted to produce a deshed shape. The results are permanent and there is no downtime associated with these treatments. However, patients are required to refrain from sexual activity for at least 48 hours after the procedure. Depending on the patient’s needs, the procedure may be done under general anesthetic or in a certified medical facility.
Another method of penile enlargement involves the dissection of the coipus cavernosum. The dissection involves the separation of the corpus spongiosum from the inferior surface of the first and second corpus cavemosum. The dissection can be performed under direct vision from the suprapubic region or through the inferior body of the pubic arch. This procedure can be performed with an erect penis or a flaccid non-erect penis.
A surgical method of penile enlargement involves the administration of a local infra-pubic nerve blocker to the penis. The blocker prevents the dorsal nerve from functioning, which inhibits the penis from erecting.
Another method of penile enlargement requires the placement of an artificial erection device on the penis. The device can be placed on the first corpus cavemosum or the second corpus cavemosum. The device is inserted through a small incision on the phallus. The device is then pumped, which creates a vacuum pressure inside the device.
A third method involves the use of a semi-permanent filler composition. The filler composition is injected into the Buck’s fascia layer of the penis shaft. This method may be performed with an erect penis, a flaccid non-erect pengis, or with an artificial erection device. Injections are usually 0.2 ml to 0.5 ml and are administered in fan-like fashion, progressing transversely along the glans of the penis. The procedure may be performed in a sterile environment.
